GARNET
Red, brown, sometimes purplish, garnet is a semi-precious stone highly prized by jewelers. Used for over 2,000 years, garnet is known by various names depending on its color: pyrope, almandine, spessartine, or glossular. Rare, the tsavorite garnet stands out for its intense green hue.

Garnets generally come from deposits in South Africa, Madagascar, Sri Lanka, India or Pakistan.
They play a key role in Mazet Joaillerie's classic and innovative jewelry. Garnet has a hardness of 7 to 7.5 on the Mohs scale.
